My new fave makeup palette!

Who here uses all their makeup before purchasing new makeup... Errr no one!
Why is it we get so excited when we open something new, nothing beats fresh new makeup!!

This week I managed to get hold of the Anastasia Beverly Hills eyeshadow palette called Modern Renaissance, this beauty is now permanent stock so no excuse not to go get it.
I got mine from theeee beauty heaven Sephora!

Look at the cute soft pink casing! I am so excited to get blending with these beautifully pigmented eyeshadows, they are a mixture of matte, shimmer and glitter. The palette opens up and inside you have double ended brush with a mirror, so perfect for on the go.

Its what on the inside that counts...

3 Shimmers :
Antique Bronze
Primavera
Vermeer

11 Mattes :
Buon Fresco
Burnt Orange
Cyprus Umber
Golden Ochre
Love Letter
Realgar
Raw Sienna
Red Ochre
Tempera
Warm Taupe
Venetian Red

I love them all but my particular favourite in this palette has to be Venetian Red a rich pinky red for sassy smokiness which will definitely add a little fire to your eyes! (Bottom row, 5th one along)
There is such a good selection of colours which are easy to blend and are great for every day looks as well as doing a more sultry eye!
I usually wear eyeshadows with a sheen, as you can see this palette is made up of mainly matte shadows but its been fun trying out something different and I am absolutely loving having a matte makeup phase for now. My first Anastasia Beverly Hills purchase (FINALLY) and I am so happy with it.

What do you guys think of this palette? It's my new fave, are there any others I should try?

Much Love,

Weekend Antics / Lifestyle

Hello again!

This weekend was all about the social life, good drink, good food and good company!

Saturday night I was lucky enough to be invited to the swanky sophisticated 'The Roof Gardens' (Kensington, London) to watch the amazing Half Crown play live and record their new video for their new rocky edgy song '32 teeth' (Listen here).
Drinks flowing, music pumping and surrounded by some wonderful people in a gazebo on top of London it was easy to forget about the rain and horrid train delays ๐Ÿ˜…

Sunday was all about food and photos of course!
My friend and I managed to snap some photos in picturesque Arundel where we found the cutest little houses.

Khaki Long Jacket- River Island (shop similar)
Black Roll Neck - New Look
Black Shine Skinny Trousers - River Island
Black Patent Boots - River Island at Asos (shop similar)
Black Love Moschino Quileted Bag - Love Moschino at Asos (Sold out in Black but have Tan)

After snapping photos it was definitely time for a Sunday roast as we both felt a little fragile ๐Ÿ˜‚
Victoria had been invited to this beautiful pub called the Earl of March nestled in the scenic countryside of Lavant (just outside Chichester, Sussex) This place was stunning!

Cosy, yet with a modern simple twist inside we received great service and of course dined like queens.
We couldn't say no to having starters as well as a roast as we don't know when too much is too much!
So here I am with my wheel of Camembert, and yes I did have a whole Camembert to myself, and no I am not sorry!

We both had beautiful roast, beef sirloin:

Feeling fruity with my 'mocktail':

We cannot thank the Earl of March for their kind hospitality and will be definitely returning!

To make a reservation then book here.

Would love to know where you guys go for your Sunday roasts as always up for new suggestions.

Much love,

My first fashion(ish) post!

Hey guys,

Well it has certainly been an eventful week, where do we start...

America has a new president... (we'll leave it at that)

What the hell is happening to Toblerone, we are loosing our shit over here in the UK, how very dare they cut the amount of chocolate we have per bar and then still charge the same, did they not think we would notice. Absolute outrage!

Topshop

Anyhow I am really excited to do my first official blog post! Myself and the lovely Victoria Hearn decided on a little trip to the beautiful City of Chichester where we can eat great food, mooch around the beautiful boutique shops and have our own little photoshoot (who doesn't do this wherever they go now)

We had such a fun day, the weather was beautiful the shops were all christmassy and we ate so much!

Here are some of our favourite pictures of the day and of course our outfit details will be tagged xxx

Black Fur Coat - ASOS
Grey Roll Neck Top - Zara
Black Jeans - River Island
Black and White Trainers - Nike

Jo Malone Boutique

Cรดte Brasserie Restaurant

I absolutely fell in love with Jo Malone's Christmas collection and will most definitely be purchasing a candle or two when I'm next christmas shopping! My favourite scent was Pomegranate Noir which you can check out here, let me know which ones your favourite!

Until next time,

Newbie

Hey guys!

I cant believe I've finally gone and set up my very own blog, its only taken me forever to do so...

To write about yourself for the whole world to see is a nerve racking thought but with your support I am so excited to see where this leads.

Finally having the confidence and skill (believe me starting a blog is not as easy as it looks ha) to start this will hopefully mean I can share my tips, places of interest, what I love and even my secrets with you ;)

I am still so new to this and would love to hear your feedback and any fab ideas!

Much love,

Nadia xxx
